Viking ship found outside Karlskrona (Sweden)
A unique, well-preserved and long, narrow Viking ship from the 1200s have been found in waters off Sturkö, southeast of Karlskrona.
- There seems to be about the broad trading vessels operating on the coast. This looks more like to be a long and narrow attack ship that was used for robbery, says diver and marine archaeologist Lars Einarsson for BLT.
County Administrative Board of Blekinge will now consider whether the investigations of the ship to continue.
