Viking ship found outside Karlskrona (Sweden)

A unique, well-preserved and long, narrow Viking ship from the 1200s have been found in waters off Sturkö, southeast of Karlskrona.

- There seems to be about the broad trading vessels operating on the coast. This looks more like to be a long and narrow attack ship that was used for robbery, says diver and marine archaeologist Lars Einarsson for BLT.

County Administrative Board of Blekinge will now consider whether the investigations of the ship to continue.

I’m not dead yet, but my activity here has been lacking. Been noticing alot of likes and reblogs, very nice. :)

Truth is I’m taking a long break from all internet activity during the summer. I’m gonna travel around Sweden and Norway and hopefully regain my hope in humanity. Or at least cure my ulcer and this nagging depression and anxiety that has been nagging me living in an apartment, working a job I hate and having to meet people I despise on a daily basis.

This has been by far the most personal post ever, and probably the most dark one as well. But what the fuck?

Destroy the walls that are around you, only you can truly change the course your life is taking. Revolt against the modern world.

Went through some of my old photos and found this one, taken on a hot summer evening 2005 when I was out fishing in my grandparents old row boat by their farm in southern Östergötland, Sweden.
I mostly prefer winter over summer, but sitting on still water in a boat all alone in ~15-20 degrees Celsius at night and just enjoying the silence is priceless.
